The switch cabinet is composed of two parts: a fixed cabinet body and a removable part (referred to as a handcart). Shell and partitions
The shell and partitions of the switch cabinet are assembled from aluminum-zinc-coated steel plates after CNC machine tool processing and multiple bending. Therefore, the assembled switch cabinet can maintain uniformity in size. It has strong anti-corrosion and anti-oxidation effects, and has higher mechanical strength than equivalent steel plates. The switch cabinet is divided by partitions into a handcart room, a busbar room, a cable room, a relay instrument room, and the shell of each compartment is independently grounded. The door of the switch cabinet adopts plastic spraying process to make its surface resistant to impact and corrosion, ensuring a beautiful appearance.
Handcart
The handcart frame is made of steel plates processed by CNC machine tools and then riveted (welded). According to the purpose of use, handcarts can be divided into circuit breaker handcarts, voltage transformer handcarts, metering handcarts, isolation cars, etc. The height and depth of all types of handcarts are unified, and handcarts of the same specifications are completely interchangeable. The handcart has an isolation/test position and a working position in the cabinet. Each position is equipped with a positioning device to ensure that the handcart cannot be moved casually when it is in the above specific position. When moving the handcart, the position lock must be released. Circuit breaker handcart The circuit breaker must be opened before moving, and when the circuit breaker is in the closed state, the circuit breaker truck cannot be moved (cranked out).

Circuit breaker compartment
Guide rails for the circuit breaker handcart to slide are installed in the circuit breaker room. The handcart can move between working position and test/isolation position. The movable curtain panel is made of metal plate and installed on the rear wall of the handcart room. When the handcart moves from the isolation/test position to the working position, the movable curtain plate installed on the static contact automatically opens. When the handcart is moved in the opposite direction, the movable curtain plate automatically closes and seals the static contact box, thereby ensuring Operators should not touch live objects. The handcart is operated when the door of the switch cabinet is closed. Through the observation window, you can see the position of the handcart in the cabinet, and you can also see the (circuit breaker closing)/(circuit breaker opening) operating buttons on the handcart. and/mechanical position indicator and energy storage/release condition indicator.
Withdrawable circuit breaker handcart
The frame is assembled from steel plates, and the handcart is equipped with a vacuum circuit breaker and other auxiliary equipment. The primary movable contact with a spring contact system is installed on the outlet terminal of the circuit breaker through an arm. The control button of the circuit breaker operating mechanism and the opening and closing position indication are all located on the handcart panel to facilitate operation. When the handcart enters the switch cabinet and reaches the isolation/test position, the handcart shell is reliably connected to the switch cabinet grounding system, and the instrument protection and control circuits are also connected to the switch cabinet through the secondary plug.
Busbar compartment
The busbar is supported by insulating sleeves and led from one switch cabinet to another switch cabinet, and is connected to the static contact box through branch busbars. The main busbar and tie busbar are rounded copper bars with rectangular cross-sections. When used for large current loads, two rectangular bus bars are required. All busbars are covered with heat shrink tubing. The fully insulated busbar system greatly reduces the probability of internal failures in the busbar room. The busbar rooms that arrange each cabinet are isolated from each other. If an internal fault occurs in the cabinet, free gas can be released through the pressure relief plate, and the free gas will not be introduced into adjacent cabinets to avoid the spread of the fault.
Cable Compartment
Current transformers and voltage transformer grounding switches can be installed on the rear wall of the cable compartment, and lightning arresters can also be installed in the cable room. After the handcart reaches the isolation position, operate the grounding switch (if any) and the front door can be opened or the horizontal partition is removed. Then the construction workers can enter the switch cabinet from the front to install cables. There are specific cable connection conductors in the cable room, which can be connected together. A single-core cable is connected, and a removable metal sealing plate is provided at the lower part to facilitate on-site construction.
Instrument Compartment
The instrument compartment can be equipped with protective components such as relays, instrument live monitoring indicators, and secondary equipment with special requirements. The control wires are laid in wire troughs with sufficient space and metal covers. The left wire trough is reserved for the introduction and extraction of the control small busbar. There are also small busbar crossing holes left on the side panels of the instrument compartment for construction.
